Tenacre is a small close-knit community where every student and every family is known and valued. Tenacre parents are involved in all aspects of school life and give in different and meaningful ways. We take pride in the fact that all of our families make a difference at Tenacre by giving of their time, talent, and treasure.

Like most independent schools, Tenacre is funded through tuition income, endowment income, and annual unrestricted contributions. Annual giving affects every aspect of daily life at Tenacre. Voluntary contributions to the Annual Fund are vital to the continuous operation of the school each year as tuition covers only 76% of Tenacre’s expenses. By providing close to 10% of the school’s operating revenues each year, the Annual Fund helps ensure that Tenacre will meet its mission to "nurture and challenge each child, every day."

Giving to the Annual Fund presents a special opportunity for all in our community (current parents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff and friends) to come together to have an immediate impact on the school. Every gift—of every size—makes a difference!

Tenacre has been fortunate to enjoy generous philanthropic support for generations. We appreciate and thank all in our community for your past support. Every gift of time, talent or treasure makes possible everything that is extraordinary about Tenacre.
