  • Demographics

    105 girls, 94 boys, 25% of enrolled students self-identify as students of color, 26 towns are represented in Tenacre's student body
  • Teachers

    Tenacre has 38 teachers who work with 199 students in the classroom.
  • Math

    In addition to direct daily math instruction, students practice math skills as part of their morning work and through games and projects.
  • Reading

    Students are taught reading daily in small flexible groups. Students are given direct instruction in spelling, handwriting, and grammar throughout the grades.
  • Spanish

    Students start to learn Spanish in pre-kindergarten
  • Special Subjects

    Students in every grade participate in Special Subject classes: science, Spanish, art, music, tech & innovation, library, P.E.
  • Interscholastic Athletics

    Fifth and sixth graders participate on interscholastic sports teams in the fall, winter, and spring (soccer, flag football, cross country, basketball, baseball and softball) as part of the Physical Education program.
  • After-School

    Tenacre offers an after-school program for pre-kindergarten through grade 6.

    Between $33,750 for pre-kindergarten and $47,450 for grade 6.
